Cucumber Chow: The Easiest Way to Make Cucumbers Exciting

Ingredients

Serves 1–3

  • 2–3 cucumbers

  • 1 handful chadon beni (also called bandanya)

  • ½ lemon or lime

  • 2–3 garlic cloves

  • Salt, to taste

  • Black pepper, to taste

  • Your favorite pepper sauce, optional

Instructions

  1. Peel the cucumbers, then slice or dice them however you prefer.

  2. Finely chop the chadon beni and garlic.

  3. Add everything to the cucumbers and mix well.

  4. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  5. Squeeze fresh lemon or lime

  6. For a little extra heat, drizzle in your favorite pepper sauce.

  7. Let the chow sit for a few minutes, so all those flavors can come together, or enjoy it immediately!
